Our 14-day basic skiing course is all about learning, fun, and building your confidence on the snow. Even if you have never touched a pair of skis before, don’t worry—we’ll start from the very basics and take it step by step. Over two weeks, you’ll spend 12 full days on the slopes, mixed with a few short theory and practical sessions that make learning easier and faster. The first day is just for your arrival and settling in, and on the last day, we wrap up with checkout. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to ski comfortably on beginner and intermediate slopes, enjoy skiing with friends and family, and be ready to take on more advanced adventures if you wish.

Across these two weeks, you’ll enjoy 12 full days of skiing practice, where you’ll actually spend most of your time learning by doing. We take care of everything for you—right from a comfortable stay in Auli to hearty meals—so you can simply focus on enjoying the snow and improving your skills. Your arrival and departure days are kept easy and relaxed, while the rest is packed with fun slope training and plenty of support from our instructors.

Course Breakdown

Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation

Check into your hotel and meet your dedicated instructor or representative. Enjoy a welcome dinner where you’ll get a taste of the adventure ahead and an overview of the week’s schedule.

Days 2 to 12 – On-Slope Training

These 12 full days are all about skiing, learning, and having fun on the slopes. Each day brings something new, and we’ll build your skills step by step. Here’s a glimpse of how your journey will look:

  • Day 2 & 3: Learn the fundamentals—get comfortable with your ski gear, practice balance and glide, and understand important safety rules.

  • Day 4 & 5: Start working on your turning techniques with simple, fun drills that improve your control and help you enjoy smooth skiing.

  • Day 6 & 7: Build confidence on beginner and easy intermediate slopes with guided practice that pushes you gently but safely.

  • Day 8 & 9: Take it a step further—learn how to handle slightly steeper terrain, improve your speed control, and enjoy the thrill of skiing more freely.

  • Day 10 & 11: Refine your style with advanced beginner drills that make your skiing look and feel smoother. This is where your confidence really grows.

  • Day 12 & 13: Put everything together—practice on varied terrain, test your skills, and enjoy the freedom of skiing on your own with instructor support nearby.

Day 14 – Checkout

After a hearty breakfast and a final briefing on how to continue your progress independently, check out of the hotel and depart with a new level of skiing confidence.

  • Comfortable Accommodations: Relax in neat, clean rooms with room heaters. Rooms are provided on a double or triple sharing basis (double sharing available at extra charges).
  • Mandatory Safety Gear: Helmets are compulsory for all participants, ensuring safety on every run.

  • Instruction: Guidance from certified, experienced skiing instructors, with separate female instructors available for female participants.
  • Transportation: Transfers from X Haridwar, depending on course booking.

Note: Participants are required to bring heavy woollen clothing, caps, woollen socks (minimum four pairs), dark sunglasses, woollen or leather gloves, mufflers, pullovers, long johns, windproof jackets and trousers, anti-sunburn cream, gum/snow boots, torch with spare batteries, personal medicines, and toiletries.

Set in the internationally renowned slopes of Auli, Uttarakhand, our course takes full advantage of the region’s breathtaking, wide, and well-groomed slopes. Note that the skiing season in Auli typically runs from early January to the end of March, subject to snowfall.

For first-time skiers, our Basic Ski Course is an all-day, hands-on package tailored for beginners. Here, our patient instructors guide you through:
